Q: Does quantity effect price?
A: Yes. The more signs you order, especially of the same kind, the cheaper they are. |
Q: What other things effect the cost of a sign?
A: Many things effect the cost: size, type of material, number of words, color of background, shadowing or outlining of letters, borders, logos, etc. |
Q: How long does it take to complete an order?
A: It depends on the type of sign and how busy we are at the time. Yard signs, magnetic signs, and vinyl letters are fairly quick (can be same day). Other signs such as screen printed signs and wood signs can take longer, as much as 2 to 3 weeks. But the majority of signs can be done in one week or less. |
Q: Why use screen printing instead of vinyl letters?
A: Screen printing is usually emloyed if a larger quantity of signs, all the same, are needed. This method can dramatically reduce the cost. With screen printing, however, the more colors you add the more the cost is increased. |

Q: How durable are vinyl letters?
A: They generally are at least as durable as painted letters, and in many cases more durable. They also are more easily changed or removed, for instance, with vehicle lettering. |
Q: What colors are most visible?
A: Black on yellow is supposedly the highest contrast, but that may be too much for what you are doing. In most cases, colors should be complimentary, yet with enough contrast to read well. Using dark colors on light background or light on dark is usually preferable. |
Q: How much lettering should I put on a sign?
A: It depends on the purpose of the sign. Most outdoor signs should be consice and simple. However, on indoor signs and informational signs, where the viewer will be able to take the time to read the copy thoroughly, it is possible to have more extensive wording. |
